Hon. Samuel Mugambi Gatati was born on 29 th April 1990 in Laikipia West. He is a Member of
County Assembly representing the people of Salama ward. He pursued Bachelor of Science in
Community Development from Egerton University-Njoro Campus in which he was awarded
with Second Class Honours(Upper Division).He has vast experience working in different Non-
Governmental relation like Red cross and World Vision In which he gained experience of
educating the public on a number of issues like public health and sanitation,co-ordinating and
training youth and women in to participate in various programs namely water, sanitation and
hygiene Program, table banking and income generating activities. He is an expert in Monitoring
and evaluation having worked in a number of World Vision project. He is also a Chairman
Committee on County Cohesion, Justice and Legal Matters, member of Finance and County
Planning, Implementation as well as Delegated County Legislation Committee. He has a Vision
of bringing service closer to the people of Salama as well as to serve them diligently without
discrimination.
